Vidal Blue Raspberry Liquorice Slices pair sweet, vivid blue raspberry with mild soft liquorice in a two-tone moulded slice. The recipe is wheat-flour based, which gives a firmer, denser chew than gelatine gummies — closer to an old-school liquorice lace than a bouncy jelly. They come from Vidal, the family-run Spanish sweet maker founded in 1963 and now one of Europe's biggest gummy producers.
