Brio Grädd are soft, gelatine-set caramel toffee chews with one deep flavour that builds through the chew. Texture-wise, think a Tootsie Roll but softer, with pure caramel where the cocoa would be. The recipe is palm-oil-free, using shea and coconut fats instead. Brio is a Malaco classic — Malaco was founded in Sweden in 1934 and is now part of heritage confectioner Cloetta, which keeps these squares on pick-and-mix counters all over the country.
