Sour Swedish Skulls are firm fruit-jelly gummies pressed into an unmistakable skull shape and rolled in a sharp citric sour coating. The first hit is genuinely sour — closer to a Sour Patch Kid's opening sting than a mild fizz — but the chew underneath is firmer and fruitier, carrying a mixed Swedish forest-fruit flavour rather than plain sugar. They are made by Candypeople AB in Malmö, the southern Swedish city that takes its pick-and-mix culture very seriously. Built on corn starch with no gelatine, they are vegan as well — rare for a sour gummy this punchy.
