These are dragées: a crisp sugar shell panned around a soft centre, moulded and coloured as frogs. The shell cracks cleanly, then gives way to a chewy fruit middle, which makes them a completely different eating experience from the jellies and foams around them on the counter. Bright colours, small size, and a texture contrast that makes them very easy to keep eating.
